“Distant Relatives” release date pushed back

April 1, 2010

Nas and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley’s much anticipated album “Distant Relatives” is being pushed back to hit the stores Tuesday, May 18.

Nas and Marley have been writing and producing the album for over a year, and many people in the hip-hop and music industry are excited for what’s in store from the two solid musicians.

“Distant Relatives” combines Marley’s instrumentation and rhymes with the flow and hard-hitting beats Nas has bought to the table for years. Nas and Marley are trying to bring more awareness to the many hardships taking place in Africa, and all proceeds of the album will go toward building a school in Congo.

Nas and Marley plan to hit the road this summer to support their new album and will be making stops at the popular summer music festival Bonnaroo in early June.

“Distant Relatives” should be a great album and fans of these two musicians should be sure to check this album out.
